At the time of Cinven’s investment, Ufinet International provided fibre infrastructure and transmission services to international carriers, hyperscalers, and large corporates across 14 countries including Chile, Colombia, Panama, Guatemala and Costa Rica. Its international connectivity network had more than 49,200 kilometres of optical fibre deployed across major cities in the regions in which it operated. The business was headquartered and managed in Madrid, Spain and employed more than 900 people.
