Established in 2002 in Denmark, One.com was one of Europe’s leading providers of domain names and web hosting services to small to medium enterprises (‘SMEs’) and small-office home-offices (‘SOHOs’). At the time of Cinven’s acquisition, One.com had 270 employees and served more than 1 million customers, with a focus on Northern Europe.
In 2020, One.com was rebranded as group.ONE.
In March 2023, Cinven’s Fund 6 agreed to sell group.ONE to Cinven’s Seventh Fund, which, in partnership with Ontario Teachers Pension Plan, combined the business with dogado group to create a diversified pan-European provider of digital solutions.
