European private equity provider, Cinven, today announced two new appointments.
Thierry Célestin has joined as an Investment Executive, and is based in Cinven’s Paris office. For the past five years Thierry has worked in the UK Corporate Finance division at Lazard, where he particularly focused on the media sector. Among others transactions, Thierry was involved in the contested offer for Tempus Group by Havas Advertising and WPP Group; the merger between Granada Group and Compass; and the IPO of Granada media. Thierry holds a Masters in Finance from London University and speaks fluent French and English.
Bruno Schick has joined as an Investment Executive, and will be based in Cinven’s Frankfurt office. Bruno previously was CEO of Surplex AG, an innovative provider of asset recovery solutions based in Germany, which he co-founded in 1999. Prior to this Bruno spent three years in the Investment Banking division at Goldman Sachs where he completed a number of M&A and corporate finance transactions in the German-speaking region. Bruno holds a Masters in Management from ESCP-EAP European School of Management and speaks fluent German, English, French and Spanish.
